The Core Set 2019 Store Championship will be held on Saturday 15 September. This tournament will say goodbye to the Kaladesh and Amonkhet block and will prepare us for the upcoming standard rotation by showcasing elements of the brand new Guilds of Ravnica expension, which releases on October 5, 2018.

Aditionally, two Core Set 2019 boosters are added to the prize pool for every registered player to be handed out to the top performers.


WHAT IS THE STANDARD FORMAT ?

Every player brings his or her own constructed deck to a Standard Event or purchase one of the 4 Challenger Decks.

Constructed decks must contain a minimum of sixty cards. There is no maximum deck size; however, you must be able to shuffle your deck with no assistance. If a player wishes to use a sideboard, it must have fifteen or less cards.

With the exception of basic land cards, a player’s combined deck and sideboard may not contain more than four of any individual card, counted by its English card title equivalent. All cards named Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest are basic lands.

The following card sets are permitted in Standard tournaments:

- Kaladesh
- Aether Revolt
- Amonkhet
- Hour of Devastation
- Ixalan
- Rivals of Ixalan
- Dominaria

The cards Smuggler's Copter, Aetherworks Marvel, Felidar Guardian, Ramunap Ruins, Rampaging Ferocidon, Attune With Aether and Rogue Refiner are currently banned in standard and may thus not be included in your deck for this tournament.
