On Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st of January, Outpost Antwerp will host release events for the new Magic: the Gathering set Rivals of Ixalan.

 

During the release weekend, people will be able to draft all day. Drafts will be at 12 €, will count towards the ranking AND will generate Outpost Player's Club Points.

 

Format: Sealed deck (4 Rivals of Ixalan boosters, 2 Ixalan Boosters)

Start: 11:00

Entry Fee: 25 €

Prize Pool: 2 Rivals of Ixalan Boosters Prize Support Per Player

 

Format: Draft (2 Rivals of Ixalan Boosters, 1 Ixalan Booster)

Start: 16:00

Entry Fee: 12 Euro

Prize Pool: Prize Pool of 1 Rivals of Ixalan/Player

 

 

WHAT IS SEALED DECK ?

 

The Sealed Deck format allows players to use the Magic booster packs they're already buying to play games in a casual or tournament setting.

Players simply open six booster packs and build a deck from the cards they opened.

Guidelines require a minimum deck size of 40 cards and allow players to add as many basic lands (Plains, Islands, Swamps, Mountains, and Forests) to their card pools as they like.
