Welcome to the fifth iteration of our Community Day initiative! The game in question this week? League of Legends!
Since every community community day we host is more or less unique we like to always start off by reiterating what Community Days are. They're a way to bring people from Outpost Antwerp together by playing a game they really love. This way it's easy to find friends, teams, and help should you need it. And it's always fun to hang out with people who like the same things you do.
This Wednesday the 22nd we're playing League of Legends. A staple of gaming, this game stands at the top of many esport events and has been played by so many people over the years it becomes hard to find someone who hasn't at least heard of it! As such we expect no shortage of old veterans, avid players, or beginners who want to find a group to play with.
As is mostly the case this Community Day takes off at 12:00 and lasts all day. To use our mighty rigs for this event you have a few options. You can either pay a flat fee of 15 Euro for the whole day (12:00 to 24:00), 10 Euro for half a day (12:00 to 18:00 or 18:00 to 24:00), or pay by-the-minute as you always do when gaming at Outpost Antwerp.
There will be prizes and tournaments, most likely a raffle as well. Make sure to ask around when we're giving away free stuff!
Naturally we'd like for everyone to stay in touch, exchange discord servers, and hopefully we can all meet up again either at the next LoL Community Day or another LoL-event!
And if League isn't your thing, then perhaps next Wednesday will be more to your liking as we dive head first into Steam Games!
