Every tuesday night, up till the end of June, Outpost Antwerp will host a multiplayer campaign for Crusader Kings 2. You can join the action at any give tuesday. Just hop in, chose yourself a county and join the fray !
Crusader Kings 2 is a game of Grand Strategy, released by Paradox Interactive in May 2012. In the game you take control of a Medieval dynasty from 1066 to 1453. The succes of your family will depend on the strategic use of wars, marriages and the inevitable assassinations. Although the main idea is to gather prestige for your family, the game is very open-ended. For us, it's more about enjoying your developing family history and the interaction with other player's dynasties.
For this campaign, we have selected a number of Counts (the lowest playable level) for participants to choose from.
Assassinations on the Direct Bloodline of other players will not be allowed and neither will be Ship Bombing*.
On our first evening, one count died of consumption after a year (and had to wait for his son to come of age), another count got imprisoned and made vain attempts to escape his cell for the rest of the evening, two counts got promoted to Duke level (one of them on the SECOND in-game day) and there even was a lucky bastard who got to call himself Petty King of Brittany by the end of the session !
