So far for the mandatory disclaimer! Now let us face the doom that is Elder Dice ....
Elder Dice is a product made by David LaRocca and Heath Robinson. David is an illustrator who specializes in Lovecraftian horror while Heath brings with him his veterancy of Kickstarter campaigns.
Together they've made several artful sets of dice packaged in small faux boxes disguised as grimoires filled with ancient and terrible lore. The look and feel of the final three products are truly great as each book comes with its own theme and features spectacular internal artwork made by LaRocca himself. As with most high-quality storage boxes they close magnetically.
Which brings us to what is INSIDE the boxes: namely our first set of dice. These are a set of blood red polyhedrons depicting the Great Old One himself: Cthulhu. Naturally the most famous of Lovecraftian terrors (and unofficial mascot for board games) had to be included. The top value of each die depicts the horrifying visage of our tentacle-y overlord so you always know when your doom strikes!
The second set of dice comes in arcane blue and represents the one thing that can hold back the darkness: the Elder Sign. Keep this faux tome close, as rolling the top value on each die may bring an end to whatever evil lurks in the shadows!
Lastly we have a bit of a classic for the true fans of Lovecraft. You see the Elder Sign we all know and love isn't the true original. The big man himself once made a drawing of what he thought was this mystical marker and it is wildly different from the one made popular by games like Arkham Horror. Now you can have a set of mysterious green dice depicting the true Elder Sign!
So you're probably wondering: Where can I buy these goodies and what do I get if I do?
Each tome (namely Cthulhu, Elder Sign or Lovecraftian Elder Sign) can be purchased seperately and contains a set of 9 polyhedral Elder Dice. On top of this you can purchase a mini expansion of several D6's in the appropriate color to further flesh out each box. You can find the links for each right here:
