Vote Marijn Lybaert into the Hall of Fame

Being in the Magic Hall of Fame is one of the big dreams for any competitive Magic: the Gathering player. Starting this year, the community has a say in who goes into the Hall of Fame. Marijn Lybaert, one of Belgium's top players, has been put on the ballot.

If you are a Magic: the Gathering player who takes his hobby serious and has ambitions to do well in major tournaments, names like Brian Kibler, LSV or Guillaume Wafo-Tapa will do more than ring a bell. All of them are proud members of the Hall of Fame.

Not only is it a recognition of a player's skill and dedication to the game, but also of the work a he has done for the community. Members of the Hall of Fame are rewarded with automatic invites to the Pro Tour, along with a slew of smaller benefits to make the life of the Magic-Pro a little easier.

Marijn has been playing Magic: the Gathering for over 18 years, most of that time playing on the competitive level. His desire to think his way out of problems and always solve the puzzle, is one of his most notable characteristics.

Most of you will probably know Marijn for his work as a co-host on the Grand Prix circuit, where he is a recurring commentator, never shying away from a witty comment. Closer to home, Marijn is a key figure in Belgic Magic, and regularly does live streams to help prepare Belgian Magic players for upcoming tournaments. It goes without saying that Marijn would not be considered for this honor if he didn't also have an excellent track record on the professional Magic tournament circuit, with his 4 Pro Tour top 8's and 3 Grand Prix top 8's, as well as a solid top 8 performance as part of the Belgian national team.
