New Outpost Europa Universalis 4 Campaign

Nothing beats the historicism of Europa Universalis 4, the game of grand strategy released by Paradox Interactive in 2013. That's why we are starting a new Outpost campaign in Antwerp that will run every tuesday night!

In Europa Universalis IV, you take control of an historical nation (our campaign will start in 1444) and then rule it through the centuries, with unparalelled freedom, depth and historical accuracy.

There is so much to this game, learning its intricacies might seem daunting at first. But boy: is this a rewarding title !

This is our fourth Outpost campaign and we are still discovering aspects of the game that we weren't aware of before. Add to this the new DLC that Paradox releases on a regular basis and you know this game will still be spellbinding us years from now.

Courtesy of our friends at Paradox, we will also be playing with ALL expansions this time: American Dream, Wealth of Nations, Conquest of Paradise, Res Publica, Art of War and the recently released El Dorado.

For this campaign, we will be grouping players in teams of two. The wargoal of the campaign is to occupy two rival capitals belonging to two different teams. Teams will be Ottomans/Mamluks, Spain/Portugal, England/Denmark, Venice/Austria, Moscowy/Lithuania and Aragon/Burgundy.

No alliances between teams, no alliances with the notorious Blue Blob (France). Some single player nations will be allowed under a different rule set (to accomodate our resident Shogun).

Feel free to hop in on tuesday night to check out the action or to join the fray.

Mind you: You don't even need to be there every session. In your absence, the AI will play your nation.
