What are the Belgian National Championships:

The Belgian championship is a tournament open to (1) everyone having either the Belgian or Luxemburgian nationality or (2) anyone who is living in Belgium or Luxemburg. All participants need to have a PlayerID and players in the Masters division need to have earned 5Play! Points earlier in the season. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact the organizer (info@pokemon-organizedplay.eu) referrring to your My Trainer Club-account.

Inscription

The inscription starts at 10h00. Players who are not queing for registeration/decklist checks and don't have a fully written out decklist by 10h45, will be registered for the tournament with a first round loss.

Format:

The rounds will be played according to the Swiss sytem, with a top-cut. De rondes zullen gespeeld worden volgens Zwitsers systeem, met een aparte Top-cut. Het aantal ronden Zwitsers wordt bepaald door het aantal deelnemers, waarbij best-of-3 gespeeld wordt in rondes van 50 minuten + 3 beurten. Voor de Top-cut (maximaal 8 spelers) wordt 2-uit-3 gespeeld in rondes van 60 minuten + 3 beurten, op basis van single-elimination.

Only cards from BW Boundaries crosses till XY Primal Clash can be used in the decks.

The players will be divided in three player divisions, determined by their year of birth. The divisions are :

Junior division: born in 2004 of later;
Senior division: born in 2000, 2001, 2002 or 2003;
Masters division: born in 1999 or earlier

Good to know before you come to the tournament

- Make sure you have your PlayerID with you;
- Try to read the tournament rules so you know what to bring to the event;
- Make sure you have a complete writte decklist;
- Make sure your cards in the deck are arranged according to the order on your decklist. This will speed up decklist at the beginning of the tournament;
- Be there on time. If you are late, you will have to register with a first round loss (see above).

Prizes

There will be preizes for the best 16 Players in every division. Every participant will get a special promo card and a specially designed Belgian National Championships 2015 die (as long as stock lasts).
