Writing is known as a solitary occupation. Its all supposed to be about working hard behind your desk in complete isolation, Not anymore though. National Novel Writing Month wants to turn writing into a social experience. That's where the write-ins come in.

A write-in consists of a small group of Wrimo's who seek out eachother's company to work on their story together. The sound of pen on paper or of keyboard strokes has never been so motivating before. Challenge one another to a Word War, ask for feedback or just write your story in good company: Write-ins are the ideal way to give your word count a good push.

National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a fun, rash writing adventure in which people from all over the world can participate. The goal is to write a story of 50.000 words over the course of November. Its completely free. There is no jury and everyone is welcome: Young and old, with or without writing experience.
