Preorder Kaladesh

Soon available in all Outposts: Kaladesh. Read on to learn everything we know so far about this new release on September 30, 2016

Young ChandraNow that the Eldrazi crisis on Innistrad is over the story turns to a not-so-familiar plane: Kaladesh, the birthplace of Chandra Nalaar. On this plane natural mages are rare, pyromancy is forbidden and actions that are normally done through magic are instead performed by Aether-powered devices. This makes the substance highly controlled and regulated by Kaladesh's overlords: The Consuls.

All this means that we'll probably see a lot of Chandra Nalaar in this 264 card set. Along with a ton of artifacts, artifact creatures and cards featuring the Aether. (Fun fact: Wizards of the Coast changed its spelling of Aether in order to make it easier for them to print cards from this set).

Since the set will officially release on the 30th of September we do not yet have any information on spoiled cards, but we do know a few other things.

A set cannot exist without its boosters and displays, but Wizards has upped the number of cards in the boosters to 16, the added card being a marketing card.

Fat packs are no more, these are instead replaced by 'bundles'. Along with this namechange they decided to up the number of boosters in these bundles by 1, totalling 10 boosters. The bundle further features all the things the fat pack used to have. Namely 80 basic land cards, a card box, 2 deck boxes and a spindown counter.

The intro packs, which allow you to jump straight into the action, are given a facelift as well. These are now called 'Planeswalker Decks' and still contain themed 60-card decks along with 2 booster packs, a premium card, a learn-to-play and strategy insert. Just like the intro packs used to do.

Lastly we have all the standard peripherals to customize your play experience like large and extra-large table playmats, full-view deckboxes, a binder and sleeves all featuring Kaladesh art.

ThopterEvery single one of the items listed above can be pre-ordered through our webshop right here and will, as stated above, be available on the 30th of September.
