Proximus goes esports! In honour of their new esports television channel they're holding several events across our three Outposts!

Regular, boring, non-gaming humans don't realise that gaming could be considered a medium for sport in the way that tennis or basketball is now. Slowly however that is all changing, with large networks realising the (profitable) potential of getting behind esports.

Esports ProximusThat's why Proximus is launching a new channel dedicated solely to esports, with several esport events focussing on LoL and CS:GO to follow suit. You can read all about that here.

On top of the launch of this brand new esports medium they're hosting several events in our three Outposts.

Our first even will take place on August 16th. A professional League of Legends player called Fedor 'The Förklift' Span will be attending from 19:00 to 21:00 to chat with fans and answer all your burning LoL questions. If ever there was a time to learn from a master it will be then.

Next day, August 17th, cosplay legend Saya will be visiting Outpost Ghent between 19:00 and 21:00 for a cosplay workshop! Ask her anything from proper material use, to tools, to sewing. She knows it all and will be happy to help you out with your projects. And with FACTS looming around the corner a bit of assistance is more than welcome!

The last event will take place in Outpost Antwerp on August 31st from 19:00 to 21:00. The Förklift will make yet another appearance to share his LoL wisdom one last time.

During each workshop the Outposts are expected to host little side events like perhaps a showcase by Fedor Span, or a small LoL tournament. This will vary greatly from Outpost to Outpost.

You can find the full schedule, with links to our event pages, below.
