Our sixth season, Ixalan, has now come to an end. Our Outpost Ranking Calculator (O.R.C.) is now hard at work to make sense of all the tournament data we have in our possession.

Has it been six seasons already? Time certainly flies! Seems only last month I got handed a whole stack of data by my overlord and was told to make a 'sensible' article out of it under the threat of a good flogging ... aah, good times!

OmnomnomBut I digress, this month we here at Outpost actually expected to see a drop in attendance and overall rank-gathering due to the holidays, exams, and whatnot. Which is totally understandable, btw. Turns out, looking at these graphs, we were completely wrong! 136749 Total Outpost Points is what you have all accumulated this last season and that's the highest number its ever been!

How is this possible? Mostly due to a stellar release and prerelease weekend for Ixalan. Those weekends were absolutely amazing and you guys have broken several records. Awesome!

But of course "136749 Outpost Points awarded" doesn't really MEAN much to the average player so let me put that in terms that can be easier understood. It means that right now we're planning to distribute 854 boosters, draft coupons, and constructed coupons among everyone that's participated this season across the Outposts. And that's on top of everything you managed to win during the tournaments themselves!

(Wééééll assuming you linked your DCI number with your Outpost Account of course, otherwise no extra rewards for you: 'anonymous user'!)

Eligible people will soon receive an email from us detailing their exact winnings.

Lastly let's take a look at the people at the very top of the charts. The trailblazers of each Outpost so to speak:

Victory CatBoth in Outpost Antwerp and Outpost Brussels we're seeing the same two faces as last season. Chon Sie Wan stands undefeated for a third time in a row in OPA, just like his counterpart in OPB: Emmanuel Delvigne. Can anyone beat those two guys?

In Outpost Ghent meanwhile Thijs Weytens takes the top spot by a narrow margin. You might recognize him as he was first place in our very first season: Eldritch Moon.

That's it, we'll see you at our next update or when the Rivals of Ixalan season closes!
