Ixalan is nearly upon us, so it's time to say goodbye to the old set: Hour of Devastation. Join us and our community at the Ixalan Open House on September 16th where we do just that.
To our veterans: We've had our hardcore battles, our exciting tournaments, clutch saves, and near misses. All that is behind us now as our decks are on the point of changing (or being replaced altogether) by the new Ixalan set. So why not, on the dawn of the prerelease, have some fun with Hour of Devastation?
The start of a new set is additionally a great starting point for beginner planeswalkers so we're encouraging them in particular to join our veterans and get an introduction to the game.
To facilitate this we're providing welcome decks and learn-to-play sessions. We also encourage our veterans to bring a friend and/or help some newbies out.
At the end of the day we'll have one of our very last Hour of Devastation standard tournaments (or even a Gentry tournament if you happen to be in Outpost Ghent). This gives our veterans a chance to show everyone how its done and our beginners a chance to meet the community.
All participants will receive a fancy new Walk The Plank promo card.
