Amonkhet looms on the horizon. Travel with us to this new plane and face the Trials of the Five Gods to secure your place in the afterlife!

Amonkhet is both the name of a brand new plane and an upcoming Magic set. This realm is very Egyptian-themed and ruled over by the Elder dragon Nicol Bolas (that's so going to work out great). You can see his horns depicted as artwork on practically every spoiled image so far.

Of course there is some other stuff about mystic trials, Five God-Pharaohs, gaining worthyness in the afterlife and so on. (Somehow the Gatewatch is going to get all messed up in this). So we have that to look forward to.

If you can't wait for this set (it does look damn cool) we're now putting up Boosters and Booster Displays up for pre-order.

Amonkhet will release on April 28th and will contain 269 cards.
