It's time to D-D-D-D D-D-D-D-Duel! Summer is here! Once more Outpost Antwerp, Outpost Ghent and Hermelijn Aalst will host a series of 6 Yu-Gi-Oh constructed tournaments.
Apart from sunshine, ice cream and oddly dressed tourists this means it's AGA Cup time!
This is your chance to win prizes, test your mettle against the best players and battle for the AGA Cup! Will you be the one to eternalize your name on this coveted trophy?
Of course the road to glory isn't easy. You will need to participate in as many tournaments as possible in order to gather ranking points. These are what will eventually determine the ultimate victor. To qualify for ranking you will need to have played in at least 2 different locations. So bear that in mind.
Ranking points are distributed as follows for each tournament:
- 1st : 10 points
- 2nd : 8 points
- 3rd : 6 points
- 4th : 4 points
- 5th – 8th : 3 points
- 9th – 16th : 2 points
- Everyone else : 1 point
Once all 6 tournaments have passed these points will be tallied and prizes will be distributed as follows:
- 1st : 1 display + 1 playmat + AGA CUP TITLE 2016 + TROPHY (engraved)
- 2nd : 15 boosters
- 3rd : 10 boosters
- 4th : 8 boosters
- 5th : 6 boosters
- 6th : 6 boosters
- 7th : 5 boosters
- 8th : 4 boosters
- 9th – 10th : 3 boosters
Once the AGA Cup is over you can collect your ranked rewards at Outpost Antwerpen on the 28th of August.
Each tournament will have its own prizes on top of those you see above. So you don't have to wait until the end of the cup to earn some sweet, sweet lewt. For starters all participants will receive 1 booster and 1 OTS pack upon entry. The top 8 players will then have the chance to earn the following each time, on top of ranking points:
- 1st : 9 boosters + 1 OTS pack + 1 playmat
- 2nd : 7 boosters + 1 OTS pack
- 3rd – 4th : 5 boosters + 1 OTS pack
- 5th – 8th : 2 boosters + 1 OTS pack
To participate in a tournament simply head towards the proper location at the designated time. You will need your deck (duh!) and pay an entry fee of 10 euros for each tournament. All tournaments use the 'Advanced Constructed' format. Time and place is listed below.
